Comments:
Florida has really impressed me over the past month. At first, I thought the LSU game was an anomaly, with the Tigers just wilting in the Swamp behind a young QB, and I was still unconvinced by the UK win, but Florida's performance in the Cocktail party has swayed me, and I really believe the Gators are the number one team in the country. (Yes Bama fans - I know the Tide crushed UGA and actually beat Ole Miss, but that tilt with the Rebels was close and they also didn't beat UK by 60. These two teams will play in the SEC Championship Game, and the winner will play for the national title).
Texas Tech jumps up to No. 2, but I'm still weary of the Red Raiders, and I don't see them sweeping Oklahomas over their next two games.
Oklahoma is starting to make a better impression, but the Sooners apparently only play defense at home. OSU still gets the nod over their rival, and the Big XII continues to get the benefit of the doubt in my mind.
Noticably absent: I guess it's Ball State considering our poll, but for all those that have the Cardinals ranked higher that UGA, Ohio State, Missouri or LSU - would you really bet your life on the Cardinals beating those teams???

Comments:
"There were a bunch of GREAT games on Saturday. Texas Tech and Georgia Tech both had close, hard fought wins at home against ranked opponents they have historically struggled with. Arkansas had their biggest win of the season over an unbeaten Tulsa team. Florida, Oklahoma, and USC had huge wins looking to bolster their 1-loss cred. Out of that group, I will have to pick Texas Tech as the team of the week.
Big upcoming games this week:
Alabama v LSU - more fuel to the LSU fire now that Bama looks to be BCS #1 headed to Baton Rouge.
Ok St v Texas Tech - can the Red Raiders get up for another Big home game???
TCU v Utah - the winner should get a BCS invite."
