Comments:
Some shake-up in my poll this week. Texas Tech moves to No. 1 with the convincing win over Oklahoma State. Bama moves up three spots to No. 2 - I did not expect a win in Baton Rouge. Florida falls to No. 3, even though I saw the Gators this week, and think they might just be the most complete team in the country. Oklahoma State actually moved up with the blowout. Their loss is to Texas and Texas Tech, and there is no problem with the buzzsaw they hit in Lubbock. Give the nod to Penn State over USC, but that matter will probably be settled in the Rose Bowl. Utah hangs out at No. 10. Again, no Ball State - first saw them against Northern Illinois last Wednesday; still not impressed.

Comments:
" 1. Texas Tech - Played a weak up front schedule, but proving themselves when it counts down the stretch.
2. Alabama - Getting the job done, but I question the quality of the SEC. Really weak this year.
3. Texas - B 12 is looking like they are heads above the rest of the country.
4. Oklahoma - Big open date before finishing with two big games that may deterime who plays for the National Championship.
5. Southern Cal - Hidden away on the left coast and nobody left on the schdule to make an impact.
6. Florida - A lot of hype for the Gators, but the SEC is over-rated this year.
7. Penn St - Losing to Iowa takes away any hope for the Big 10 + 1 of making the BCS tilte game again. Probably a good thing.
8. Utah - Best of the non-BCS teams, should get the nod for a BCS bowl birth.
9. Boise St - Will have to settle for a secondary bowl.
10. Ball St - Same boat that Boise St is in, would be a good match up with another undefeated non-BCS team.
11. Oklahoma St - Just shows the depth of the Big 12 South.
12. Ohio St - Pryor at QB has helped the Buckeyes salvage their season.
13. BYU - Still has a shot at the MWC title at and a top 10 finish.
14. Missouri - Should coast into the Big 12 north title and get a shot at upsetting the BCS Title Picture.
15. Michigan St - At this point it becomes scrambled eggs at who belongs in the last few spots.
16. North Carolina - Although the ACC isn't overly strong at the top, they are a pretty good conferece from top to bottom. "
