Comments:
Florida starts out the season No. 1 due to the returning starters from last year's team. OK St gets the early test with UGA; they'll either stay in the top 5 or drop way down. Virginia Tech is low due to loss of star RB, but win over Bama has them back in the fold.

Comments:
"I'm not as sure in writing this about VaTech and Bama, now with the Darren Evan's loss, but I think they could still pull it out
1 - Florida - Who will be this year's stupid loss?
2 - Oklahoma - Wins head/head with Texas, will have to try to lose to other teams until the OkSt Game
3 - Texas - Loses to Oklahoma head/head, comes up short again, continues to whine, get a Conference Championship Game
4 - Virginia Tech - Beats Bama (not as sure with the loss of Evan's now, but sticking to it), and the best in the ACC until they lose
5 - California - Beats USC head to head, wins the Pathetic 10, gets a scare against Oregon
6 - Penn St - Beats Ohio St, wins Little 10, could go undefeated
7 - USC - Beats OSU, Loses to Cal in their usual ridiculous we dont show up loss
8 - LSU - ""sleeper"" in the SEC, beats UGAy on the road, chance to beat UF at home
9 - Ohio St - Good team, but Pryor can't carry them over USC. Late loss to PSU, and maybe Michigan
10 - Alabama - Loses in opener to VaTech, Can they recover against Ole Miss?
11 - Georgia Tech - Fluke?, a good start and circle Oct 17 on your calendar for the ACC Coastal
12 - Ole Miss - 4-0 start heading into Bama, overlooked ""sleeper""
13 - Boise St - Should impress against a good Oregon team, then they play absolutely…Nobody
14 - Michigan St - Could easily go 11-1
15 - Georgia - Would the real Joe Cox please stand up?
16 - Florida St - Beat Miami in the opener, and off quickly to 5-0

Comments:
"1. Florida (no questioning yet)
2. Texas (Oklahoma failed so Texas goes here)
3. USC (quarterback questions will keep them away from the top 2 all
season and most likely will be out of the top 5 sometime this season)
4. Oklahoma
5. Alabama
6. Penn State --Joe Pa has been building a good team these past few years
7. LSU--I think they will be the one team to beat Florida this year.
8.Ohio State--I hate to do this but frankly I will try to give them
the benefit of the doubt
9. Virginia Tech (Alabama game will either show how good or bad this
team truly is)
10. Oregon--This is my wildcard team that I think has the best chance
to take over USC's dominance in the Pac
11.Georgia Tech-- The offense will be better, the defense will suprise
a lot of people because even though the d-line is young the
linebacking core and secondary will be two of the best units in the
past few years.
12.Florida State--I think they may start a little rusty but will end
up with at least 10 wins and will easily win the Atlantic.
13. Ole Miss
14.California
15.Iowa
