Comments:
Texas remains atop my poll with the close win over Oklahoma State, and Penn State gets the benefit of the doubt at No. 2. Bama has the ability to climb even if those two stay unbeaten, but the loss by LSU to UGA won't help the Tide. Obviously high on the Big XII right now, with four of my top six being from the Big XII South, but Missouri is currently absent. Florida State creeps into my first poll - after the Wake loss, the Seminoles have started playing really well, especially defensively, though I'd like to have seen them against a healthy Tyrod Taylor. Two great games this week with Texas at Texas Tech and Florida vs. Georgia - that winner (coupled with Alabama) still has a shot at my number one.

Comments:
1. Texas: The keep passing each test
2. Penn St: Have been dominant and now showed the could win ugly.
3. Alabama: Looks like very little standing in their way to SECCG
4. Texas Tech: Big showdown up coming this weekend.
5. Oklahoma St: Proved the should be up near the top
6. Florida: Best in the SEC East right now.
7. Oklahoma: Have bounced back pretty well from the Texas loss
8. Boise St: Probably showing a reason there should be a playoff system.
9. Utah: Same for reasons for playoffs.
10. Southern Cal: Weak conference will most likely keep the out of a chance to play in BCSCG.
11. Georgia: It will come down to the Outdoor Cocktail Party Saturday.
12. Tulsa: Still have a shot at a BCS Bowl, but slim.
13. Minnesota: Big turn around from last year.
14. Ball St: Getting little or no respect
15. TCU: Just another good team in the state of Texas this year.
16. LSU: Over-rated but running out of teams of 16th spot.
